General Description

The STP was commissioned in 1975.

Sewerage Catchment:

• Twofold Bay (Eden) outfall is the discharge point for the Eden STP which services the township of Eden.

Sewage Treatment:  

• Eden STP is an activated sludge plant with tertiary ponding.

Outfall:

• The outfall is located on a rocky outcrop between Yallumgo Cove Beach and Aslings Beach within Twofold Bay. The outlet consists of a 300mm diameter pipe, which discharges below the water below some small boulders in a small cove.
